Mark earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Finance from Xavier University. Beyond his private practice, he spent 22 years as an Adjunct Professor of Accounting and Taxation at the University of Cincinnati, shaping and mentoring future financial professionals.

With a total of 45 years in taxation—24 years part-time and 21 years full-time—Mark’s expertise spans individual tax returns, strategic tax planning, and small business accounting. In 1999, he founded Albertz & Associates CPA, LLC, serving individuals and small businesses across Greater Cincinnati.
Under Mark’s leadership, the firm expanded from 120 clients to over 500 individual clients and 34 small businesses. His commitment to service and excellence earned his firm a consistent spot among the “Three Best Rated Accounting Firms in Greater Cincinnati” from 2015 until its merger with another firm in 2020.
Life Beyond the Numbers
Mark has been married to his wife, Marion, for more than 50 years. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing and vacationing with his wife, adult children, and grandchildren—cherishing time with family as much as his work with clients.
